Sea fishing in Northern Norway is a very special highlight. Halibut especially attracts many to this region. Vannoya is known for great fishing prospects and records, and not just for halibut.

Wind-protected halibut and Steinbeisserstellen lie directly in front of the "doorstep" around Kristoffervalen. In the Sound between Vannoya and Fugloy with depths over 150m romping redfish, cod and salmon. The fishing areas around Buroysund and Torsvag are also easily accessible.
